Prof. Deslandes

Rollande Deslandes (Ph.D.) is Emeritus Professor in the Department of Education at the University of Quebec in Trois-Rivières and a regular researcher at the Centre of Research and Intervention for Student and School Success (CRIRES).

Initially a high school and special education teacher, she subsequently developed an expertise in regard to family-school-community collaboration and the influence of family environment on educational success of young people, particularly in relation to homework, and other indicators of school outcomes

 

She has also invested a great deal in pre-service and in-service training of teachers in terms of school-family-community relationships.
